The new features on the DEX410v3 are:-

Big bore shocks - more consistent on rough tracks due to the larger volume of oil.
Gold shock shafts as standard – super smooth Ti Ni coated shock shafts.
New ‘Kuhler’ Body – increased space inside the body and improved air flow to the electronics
New RR suspension arm brace – allows the rear squat to be altered using moulded inserts.
New ‘Fine Tune’ shock towers with finer adjustment for the upper mounting positions and more rear camber link positions on the rear tower.
New HD Ball Ends used throughout – tighter fitting and less likely to pop off during a collision.

Changes from the 2010 kit are:-

Plastic side rails are used in place of the aluminium side rails.
Plastic servo mount is used in place of the machined aluminium one.
Plastic rear gearbox inserts used in place of the machined aluminium parts.
Plastic middle bulkhead used in place of the machined aluminium part.
Moulded upper shock mounts with steel screw.
Revised rear bulkhead and rear gearbox hoop to improve strength in these areas.
Steel turnbuckles used in place of titanium turnbuckles.
Shock and drive shaft boots removed from the kit.

The DESC210R is unique. That is why our 'Hybrid technology' gearbox design has a patent application (No: 2 486 513). The DESC210R allows you, the racer, to choose if you want the motor to be in rear- or mid-motor position. Not only that, you can decide whether you want the motor to be on the left- or right-hand side of the car. All of these configuration options are available with the same gearbox unit and without altering the suspension geometry. This ability, to tune the weight distribution and torque orientation of the motor, without changing your suspension set-up, is what makes the DESC210R a unique Short Course Truck. The DESC210R is arguably the most tuneable yet user-friendly pro electric off road Short Course Truck kit available today

The DESC210R comes with Team Durango's 'Fat Shock' Big Bore shock absorbers. Already race proven on the '2012 Reedy Invitational' winning DEX210 buggy, our Big Bore shocks keep the DESC210R nimble and planted. With a full range of optional Big Bore springs available, the DESC210R can be fine-tuned for any track and any condition. A full range of pistons is included in the kit - we even include blank pistons so you can drill your own for the ultimate in shock tuning.

Getting the setup options you want without expensive optional parts is what the DESC210R is all about. Using specially designed inserts to change rear toe-in, and front caster. The axle spins on bearings seated in the hubs which allows the same wheel hex fitment front and rear.

The DESC210R is an ultra-adjustable platform, designed to be tuned to any track or condition you can throw it at. The shocks may be FAT but the chassis isn't. Our 6061 T6 2.5mm hard anodised aluminium chassis plate is slim, trim and beautiful. Combined with stylish composite side-rails - designed to accommodate modern electrics , the chassis assembly on the DEX210 offers flex and strength, giving you control on the toughest, roughest and smoothest of race tracks. The DEX210 has been designed with all racers in mind, so both stick and saddle pack (ROAR legal) batteries can be used.

The DEX210 is a car that gives the racer so many options with the least amount of fuss. We have kept all of the parts you need to a minimum, whilst still allowing you maximum control over how you can configure the buggy. Our Team Durango styled bodyshell is no exception. Other buggies that offer rear- and mid-motor configurations require you to have two different gearboxes and two different bodyshells. Our engineers and designers decided from day one that the DEX210 should have only one bodyshell, regardless of the configuration of the buggy. With the use of a special 'cowl' system, the DEX210 racer can use the same bodyshell, saving you time and money.
